Bishop Parker Catholic School And Nursery

“Be brave! Stand firm; for the Lord your God is with you.” Joshua 1:9

We learn together. We grow together. We celebrate together. We pray together.

Welcome

Welcome to Bishop Parker Catholic School.

'Be brave! Stand firm; for the Lord your God is with you.'

Bishop Parker Catholic Primary School endeavours to be a school where children can grow in the love of God and one another, develop their talents, form lasting friendships and fulfil their potential.  Our children enjoy an inspiring and well-resourced environment in which they can all develop through a wide ranging, comprehensive curriculum.

We are a voluntary-aided Catholic school for boys and girls between 4 and 11 years of age. There is also a Nursery Unit attached to the school for 39 children between 3 and 4 years of age who attend on mornings 9-12noon, with optional lunchtime club 12-3pm. The education that the children receive has the Gospel Values at its core.

Bishop Parker School is part of the Bletchley Catholic Schools' Federation (BCSF) which is a small partnership with St Thomas Aquinas School. These two schools serve the parish of All Saints and St Thomas Aquinas.

Our Mission

Our school's mission statement informs all that we do at Bishop Parker school. We teach the children to 'be brave' in their learning, interactions and in their character - growing in confidence during their time at school. We want our pupils to 'stand firm' in doing what is right with a strong focus on respect which informs our children's decisions and all the relationships within the school. At Bishop Parker school we know that God is with us - the children and staff place Gospel Values at the heart of the school so that all children may grow in faith as well as academically and socially.

Here at Bishop Parker School each child is very special to us. We want all the children to achieve success both academically, socially and to grow in the knowledge of the Catholic faith.

We want all the children to feel happy and secure at our school. Staff will do all they can to achieve this. We want them all to become confident, enthusiastic learners and to have fond memories of their time at Bishop Parker School. We welcome our partnership with parents to achieve these aims.

Our Learning Environment

We believe in creating a learning environment where all the children are willing to:

  • Learn

  • Risk making mistakes

  • Push themselves

  • Take on challenge

  • Effectively self-assess their own learning and effort.

All of our staff:

  • Communicate confidence in all children's ability to rise to the learning challenge

  • Are relentlessly positive and courteously challenging.
