Welcome to Bishop Parker Catholic School.
We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
Bishop Parker is a voluntary-aided Catholic school for boys and girls between 4 and 11 years of age. There is also a Nursery Unit attached to the school for 39 children between 3 and 4 years of age who attend on mornings 9-12noon, with optional lunchtime club 12-3pm. The education that the children receive has the Gospel Values at its core.
We have high expectations of all our children in every aspect of school life. We endeavour to enable them each to achieve their potential through high standards of behaviour and the very best learning experiences. We aim to enable them to develop self-confidence and independence, recognising that each and everyone has a part to play as a responsible member of our learning community and Christ’s worldwide family.
Our teachers are enthusiastic and strive to encourage a love of learning in our pupils. We have a broad curriculum where a wide range of teaching styles are used to ensure that every child’s needs are catered for. We are currently updating our policies and would ask for the patience. If you would like to know about any aspect of the school please ask at the office.
